Novastock Desktop has been designed for desktop and laptop computers. The opening screen is the Farm Summary dashboard, which shows tables, graphs and coloured maps of key farm information, like this:
Then select Animals from the Main Menu and you'll arrive at this screen:
Some tips to for using it:
Rearrange the panels to any arrangement by dragging their title bars, or resizing them like a normal window.
Change the data that is displayed in a Details Panel by clicking the small menu button at the top-right that panel.
If a table is displayed (as opposed to a chart or a map), then a similar adjacent button will be available to change column settings.
Sort any table by clicking the relevant column header, and drag and drop the column headers to reorder them.
Edit animals in the main table or any of the details panels; just select an animal then click on the value that you want to edit. In some cases an editing dialog will appear.
To edit multiple animals, select them then make edits using the Basic Details table.
Add a new animal by selecting Edit > New Animal. This will add a new item in the Main Animals Table, with some default values.
Add historical data (e.g. weights and treatments) by selecting an animal and clicking Edit > Add Event.
We recommend that when in the app you add it to your desktop. For example, in Google Chrome this is done by clicking the Chrome menu and selecting "More tools" > "Add to desktop...", and leaving the "Open as window" option ticked.
